Three Arrested in Woodland Hills Home-Invasion Homicide
In a tragic incident that unfolded early Saturday morning in Woodland Hills, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has announced the arrest of three individuals on suspicion of murder. The arrests are connected to a home-invasion robbery that resulted in the death of a 47-year-old man.
The Incident
According to reports, officers responded to an emergency call around 1 a.m. in the 22200 block of De La Osa Street, near Woodland Hills Elementary School. Upon arrival, they discovered Aleksandre Modebadze suffering from a severe head injury. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details of the Crime
Homicide detectives revealed that the assailants entered Modebadze’s residence, where they allegedly assaulted him, held him captive, and stole items from his home.
Suspects Arrested
Later that same day, LAPD detectives apprehended three suspects: Paata Kochyashvili, aged 38; Zaza Otarashvili, 46; and Besiki Khutsishvili, 52. All three are facing charges of murder and are currently held in custody with bail set at $2 million each.
