The ongoing antitrust case against Google has brought its prominent Chrome web browser into the spotlight. Parisa Tabriz, the general manager of Chrome, underscored the browser’s unique features during her testimony, emphasizing that its functionality is deeply intertwined with other sectors of Alphabet Inc.

Despite this assertion, Tabriz countered, stating that Google has accounted for over 90% of Chromium’s code contributions since 2015, emphasizing the heavy investment—both financial and human resources—Google places on the project.
