Crystal Cave Set to Reopen to Visitors This Summer
The enchanting Crystal Cave located in Sequoia National Park is preparing to welcome visitors again after a four-year closure. Starting May 23 and running until September 7, adventure seekers can explore the remarkable formations that make this underground marvel a must-see.
Getting Tickets for the Tours
Tickets for the guided tours are currently available for purchase. Due to the high demand, visitors are encouraged to secure their spots as soon as possible, especially for peak months in July and August when tickets often sell out. The cost is $21.20 for adults and $11 for children under 10 years old. Reservations are managed by the Sequoia Parks Conservancy, as no tickets will be sold directly at the cave.

The tours run daily from June through September 7, while in May, they are offered from Friday to Monday, with closures on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Visitors are permitted to take photographs during the tour, though flashes, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are prohibited. Should inclement weather necessitate a cave closure, refunds will be provided.
