Meet The Founders
Coast Music Conservatory was founded by Beth and Matt Rohde, both of whom are accomplished musicians with extensive backgrounds in the industry.
Matt Rohde is a Los Angeles-based keyboardist, musical director, arranger, and composer. He has toured and recorded with artists such as Jane’s Addiction, Christina Aguilera, Alanis Morissette, and Prince. In addition to his performance career, Matt has spent over a decade as the Associate Music Director for American Idol and now works as an arranger for The Voice on NBC.
Beth Rohde is a performer, educator, and music director with degrees from Berklee College of Music (Vocal Performance, Music Production) and USC (Jazz Studies). She has coached and performed on American Idol, Fix My Choir, and Christmas Caroler Challenge. Beth currently serves as the Music Director for College Audition Los Angeles (CALA).
